Saint Leo University hosts a free joint Criminal Justice and Social Work training on how to quickly, safely, and effectively de-escalate angry people we all work with every day. DE-ESCALATE delivers free professional training designed by, with, and for human services professionals. Expect and accept nothing less.
• Learn how to work together more effectively while verbally de-escalating angry people and situations. • Learn about the neuroscience regarding anger and the tools that quickly and safely de-escalate anger.
All trainers have: De-escalated angry youth & adults • have professional training experience • mastered adult learning skills • taught at academies, colleges and universities, and conferences.
DE-ESCALATE has been taught to teachers, counselors, social workers, law enforcement, corrections and probation officers nationwide, presented at professional training conferences and published in peer reviewed journals.
