    • Digital badges are the visual online representation of the micro-credential; they are globally recognized and certify the skill you learned and the achievement you earned. This is valuable because it is portable, so you can be provided to employers as evidence of your achievements.
    • Digital badges, however, are not just images on a page. They are dynamic and store information that provides evidence of your attained knowledge, such as the institution from which it was earned, the date it was earned, the criteria required to earn it, and the evidence to show you met the criteria. This is valuable because some skills are difficult to prove to an employer or describe on a resume.
