Saint Leo’s transition to Handshake marks a major milestone in the positive transformation of the Office of Career Services and the team’s service delivery model. Handshake empowers Career Services to meet and exceed the demands of a diverse client group in ways that are most important to each key stakeholder: students, alumni, faculty, staff and – you – the employers who choose to recruit talent from Saint Leo University. Career Services chose Handshake as the engine behind our online career management platform after several months reviewing system utilization and user experience feedback as well as conducting needs assessments and focus groups with our key stakeholders. Handshake delivers a variety of improvements to our service delivery model but, most importantly, it provides our employers and nationwide talent pool unprecedented access to each other that was never before possible.
