Dr. Robyn Parker has extensive administrative and instructional experience in higher education and is currently the Dean of the Donald R. Tapia College of Business at Saint Leo University. Prior to joining Saint Leo University, Parker served as Academic Dean, Dean of the College of Business Administration, Tenured Professor and Director of Instruction at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. Parker started her career in higher education as an Assistant Professor and Undergraduate Program Director at Kent State University.
Throughout her career, within each institution she has worked, she has been a leader in change facilitation. Her interests lie in organizational theory, development, and behavior. A systems thinker, Parker has facilitated the design and implementation of restructuring strategies that have saved money, streamlined processes, and created innovative programs and learning environments. Her research centers on the relational effects of technology use in both remote work and online education contexts.
Parker has been a fellow with the Academy for Innovative Higher Education Leadership, a partnership between Arizona State University & Georgetown University. The Academy uses a cohort model to prepare senior level, higher education administrators to lead large scale organizational change. Parker leverages her scholarly and applied higher education experiences in leading the Tapia College of Business and in guiding others in transformative change.
