    Craig Winstead, Ph.D., PMP

    Chair, Department of Operations Management, Associate Professor of Project Management with Tenure

    Dr. Craig Winstead is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and active member of the Project Management Institute. Prior to joining the faculty at Saint Leo, he worked for 12 years at Verizon Communications in both the retail and wholesale divisions; seven of those years as a training and quality management specialist managing projects, facilitating classes, and leading quality management audits of both front-line employees and management executives. He considers himself a scholar-practitioner who brings real-world experience to the classroom. Dr. Winstead researches, writes, and presents on numerous subjects including project management, decision-making, ethics, technology in the classroom, and human behavior. He is a faculty inductee of the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society and was the recipient of the Verizon Excellence Award, the highest company honor.
