    Darla Asher, MLIS

    Assistant Professor Serials and Instructional Services Librarian

    Darla Asher is an Assistant Professor/Serials and Instructional Services Librarian at Saint Leo University and holds an M.A. (L.I.S.) from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Ball State University. She received her M.B.A. from Saint Leo, which she completed in August of 2018. She has published in the New Review of Academic Librarianship and Library Leadership and Management and has presented at state and national conferences on the topics of library space, technical services, and cloud-based integrated library systems. While attending University of South Florida she earned the Blackwell Perrault Scholarship for Academic Excellence. Darla serves as Vice Chair for the Florida Library Association's Fundraising Committee.
