Dr. Helen MacLennan, Assistant Professor of Management, has been with Saint Leo University since 2015. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate-level business and management courses at the Tampa and MacDill A.F.B. Campuses, as well as online.Â She also serves as a dissertation chair for several Saint Leo University D.B.A. students.
Prior to teaching, Dr. MacLennan spent 12 years as a licensed real estate broker and asset manager for a multi-state portfolio of industrial properties and completed an M.B.A. in real estate studies at Marylhurst University followed by a Ph.D. in management with a focus in conflict management at Sullivan University.
Dr. MacLennan serves on the editorial review board for the Journal of Conflict Management and a member of the Organization Studies Advisory Board. She also serves as a site evaluator for the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and has published research on a variety of topics including business doctoral credentials, toxic leadership, and female entrepreneurship in the Journal of Conflict Management, International Journal of Doctoral Studies, Journal of Excellence in Business Education, Southeast Case Research Journal, and the Journal of Transportation Management.
