Dr. James Womick is an Associate Professor of Marketing for Saint Leo University. He has over 30 years of experience in marketing management with increasing responsibility in the Consumer Packaged Goods, Telecommunications, and International Trade industries. He has taught at the post-secondary level for over 20 years at both community colleges and universities as an adjunct and full-time faculty member.
He is the founder and faulty advisor for the Marketing Club of Virginia (MCV) and chaired the marketing committee for the Virginia Region Interdisciplinary Academic Conference (VRIAC) in its first year. He led the effort to recognize Black History Month through audio-visual programs at university education centers. And, is a member of the Professional Development Fund (PDF) committee.

As a member in good standing with the American Marketing Association (AMA), the Hampton Roads Virginia Chapter of the AMA, the Atlantic Marketing Association (AtMA), the Academy of Business Research, and the Southeast Case Research Association (SECRA), he has presented his research at numerous conferences and held various leadership roles.
Dr. Womick enjoys painting and photography, as well as attending jazz concerts and writing short stories. He is currently writing a suspense novel.
