Dr. Foster was the founding Chair of the Department of Sport Business. She established the first Saint Leo University industry council and, with adjuncts, the MBA-Sport Business.
She co-authored Experiential Learning in Sport Management: Internships and Beyond and ten textbook chapters. Her legal research and presentations focus on the Fair Labor Standards Act and its application to internships. Her articles on legal issues have appeared in nine publications with one re-published by the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
She serves on editorial boards for the Journal of the Legal Aspects of Sport and the International Journal of Sport Management, has served the Commission of Sport Management Accreditation on the Board of Commissioners, Internship Task Force, and site-reviewer chair, and was the founding VP for the Alliance for Sport Business.
Dr. Foster states her sporting career was highlighted when selected to represent the United States as an official at the Barcelona Paralympics. Dr. Foster has worked in sales, college athletics, and campus recreation.
