    Kingsley C. Nwosu, Ph.D.

    Asst. Professor

    Dr. Kingsley C. Nwosu holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Syracuse University and has over 27 years of extensive background in Advanced Software Engineering, IT, and R&D from holding Senior Technology Research and Development positions with IBM, AT&T Bell Labs, and Lucent Bell Labs. He has started and managed two IT companies and worked as Chief Technology Consultant for several companies in New Jersey. Academically, he has been affiliated with Rutgers University, NJ; Montclair State University, NJ; and Ocean County College, NJ. Dr. Nwosu has served as Program Member/Chairman for over 20 IEEE/ACM Conferences and Workshops. He has published over 30 technical papers in the areas of Multimedia Systems, Object-Oriented Systems, Software Engineering, Databases, Video-On-Demand, etc.; and has authored two books on Multimedia Database Systems; (1) Multimedia Database Systems: Design and Implementation Strategies, (2) Multimedia Database Management Systems: Research Issues and Future Directions. Dr. Nwosu has filed and received international patents in the areas of Biometrics Identification, Verification, and Authentication. He is a member of IEEE, ACM, Academy of Science and Engineering, Association of Information Technology Professionals, and Cloud Computing Association. He is listed in the 2000-2001 edition of Who's Who in Science and Engineering; 1998 Edition of Who's Who in America; and 1998 Edition of Who's Who in the World.
