Dr. Wood has 25 years of experience in human resource management, marketing, comptroller, and project management in the retail industry. She currently teaches human services administration courses in the graduate program. Dr. Wood has instructed (online, blended, on ground, VTT, ICC) and developed courses in undergraduate, graduate and doctorate programs. She has presented at national and international conferences and has published numerous journal articles on topics ranging from online pedagogies, interdisciplinary service learning, and critical thinking. In 2018, Dr. Wood published a book, Marketing for Nonprofits.When she is not in the classroom, her research interests include social entrepreneurship and leadership development. In 2018, she was selected as a faculty fellow by The Algernon Sydney Sullivan Foundation. Dr. Wood is currently the Director of Human Services Administration graduate program.
