Our purpose is to promote and increase school spirit on Saint Leo campus and within the greater Saint Leo community. To provide a place for dancers to continue their passion at the collegiate level while competing at the regional and/or national level.
Our mission is to uphold school spirit; to serve as ambassadors of the university, and to be guided by the Benedictine values of Saint Leo University. Through the accomplishment of this mission, our spirit members will become strong athletes, bold leaders, and positive contributors to our community.
Membership in this organization is open to female or male, full-time- at least 12 credits as accredited by the University students of Saint Leo University, without regard to handicap, race, age, creed, or national origin.
GoldRush is under the direction of Kimesha Norris. Kimesha is a native from Forrest City, AR. She’s been a part of cheerleading since the age of four and started her journey in dance in high school. Kimesha danced at the collegiate level for Henderson State University in Arkansas. Kimesha is also the director of the student cheering section “Roaring Lions”, and oversee the school mascot.
