International Tourism, Minor

Why choose an International Tourism Minor at Saint Leo?

Can you picture yourself working for a tour operator in the Pacific Northwest; as a tourism consultant in Jamaica; advocating for sustainable tourism in Ecuador; or with the organizer of an internationally-recognized festival or major sporting event? A minor in International Tourism prepares you for a dynamic career in tourism, the world’s largest industry.

Tourism is multi-dimensional. In addition to other business disciplines, careers in tourism’s operational sectors and support functions also interest students with various majors, such as Biology, Psychology, History, English, and Criminal Justice. The minor in international tourism can literally open doors to interesting and exciting opportunities that exist worldwide.
