Life on Campus

    Student Affairs Information

Here are a few things you need to know about life at University Campus or your experience at Saint Leo University education center.

    Dining on Campus

The Dining Hall, the newly redesigned Fuz - Saint Leo's Fusion Eatery (formerly the Lair), and Benedict’s Coffeehouse will be open to you with some modifications. Service in the Dining Hall will be limited to students only, and seating will be provided at a limited capacity. All meals will be served in disposable containers to support to-go dining and will be individually portioned. Additionally, a new to-go service will be available in the Student Community Center lobby at lunchtime.

    Residence Halls

The residence halls and student services at Saint Leo University will be open for the entire Fall Semester, providing you the option to remain on campus following the Thanksgiving Break. In an effort to maintain social distancing, individual rooms that normally house three or four students will be reduced to two, and external visitors will not be permitted inside residence halls. Saint Leo visitors will be permitted; however, all residents in the unit must agree that guests are permitted. You will be required to wear face coverings when not in your residence hall room/apartment. An addendum to the university’s housing agreement was provided, which will outline the new expectations for on-campus housing.

    Student Transportation

The seven-day a week shuttle that takes students to local shopping will still operate, but students must make an appointment to ensure social distancing while riding. Please call University Safety at (352) 588-8432. The Safe Ride golf cart shuttle will only operate between Marmion-Snyder Residence Halls and the Lion Statue. In addition, it will provide pick-ups at the Library when it closes. Students with disabilities with mobility challenges qualify for rides throughout campus and should also contact University Safety at (352) 588-8432.

    Student Activities

Be sure to read the daily Student Activities newsletter that is delivered to your email inbox. The newsletter shares a wide variety of news, including workshops, activities, recreation, Career Services events, and many other opportunities.
