    We are very excited to announce the Technology Innovation Institute and Initiatives (TI3) at Saint Leo University. The purpose of TI3 is to guide Saint Leo into the future with digital innovation, transformation, growth and sustainability in this era of technological progression in Higher Ed. TI3 includes the innovation technology center with collaboration around our institution and technology services.

    To strategically guide our Institution towards Industry leadership and growth with technology, program enhancements and impactful partnerships.

     

    TI3:

    The Institute has aspiring partnerships with Fortune 10 companies as well as those in the Fortune 100, and is inventing technology initiatives that are both unique and collaborative in industry and government. 
    • Will devise the road-map for the future of Saint Leo enterprise systems, integration, data governance and warehousing, business process automation, machine learning, artificial intelligence including classroom and online learning.
    • Outreach programs with regional and national communities will be intended to provide offerings, programs, internships, cyber incubation, new labs, clubs and real world experience for students during their academic career and leading into their next steps of life opportunities. 
    • Will provide crowdsourcing initiatives and proposal (RFP) type processes available for students, faculty and staff that contribute to our strategic plans and applications in our community. This includes events for our community such a hackathons and RAD (Rapid Application Development) initiatives with agile approaches for applications of interest at Saint Leo University.
      It’s an exciting time at Saint Leo University and this will be a synergistic, collaborative institute.

    Technology Innovation Institute (TI3) supports members of the University community by providing excellent technical services in support of effective teaching, enhanced learning, and productive work.

    Need Support?

    The Technology Innovation Institute (TI3) Helpdesk serves all Saint Leo University locations from the University Campus home location. Technology Innovation Institute (TI3) Support Specialists provide support for University technology related services, including:  Classroom Technology, Event Support, The Portal, Email Services, Network & Telecommunications Services, Information Security, Hardware & Software, and System Application & Infrastructure Support.

    The Technology Services is a key foundation of TI3.   This includes the service catalog and innovative ideas and solutions that are handled and services from the Technology Services group including five (5) Directors and skilled Teams in the organization.

    Enterprise Applications

    Enterprise Solutions supports University departments and the new ERP system through development of innovative and streamlined business processes.

    Systems Operations

    IT Operations provides support and ensures availability of IT related services including the Help Desk, Media Services, infrastructure, network, telecom, web and lab services.

    PMO and Agile

    UTS Project Management promotes and advances project management principles and services for IT projects.

    Information Security

    Information Security strives to deliver and maintain an integrated information security program that safeguards the University’s information assets.

    Client Technology and MultiMedia

    Media Services offers a broad range of audio, video, training and presentation services. The primary focus is the support of instructional technology in the classroom.
