Women in Data + Science Conference Exhibitor Showcase
Your story. Your work. Your Strategies for Success.
Presented in partnership by Data + Women of Tampa Bay and Saint Leo University College of Education & Social Services and Student Activities
Friday, March 1, 2019 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. @ Saint Leo University, Saint Leo, Florida Student Community Center Boardrooms A-B-C
The inaugural Women in Data + Science conference aims to broaden the impact and exposure of women in data-infused fields by creating a community that educates, empowers, and inspires. This interdisciplinary STEAM conference focuses on encouraging women to join the field and celebrating female trailblazers. Given the increased visibility of the struggles women face in the workplace, the conference seeks to honor women’s accomplishments in the sciences and to offer networking opportunities. It is important for women to share the hurdles they encounter and their strategies for overcoming them to bolster the next generation of women in historically male-dominated industries.
This event is your opportunity to connect with college students, recent graduates, academics, and industry professionals who are interested in data science. At this event companies, educational institutions, and vendors can show products of interest to conference attendees, including brochures describing services, job postings, internship opportunities, etc. The exhibitor showcase will be hosted in the Student Community Center lobby, which is directly outside the conference venue. Exhibitor registration includes one free lunch. Any additional exhibition personnel must purchase a lunch ticket for $15.
