Be Part Of A Day For Saint Leo
If you're a student in one of Saint Leo's online degree programs, here's how you can participate in a milestone day in your university's history.
Whether you're a servicemember deployed in the Middle East or a working mom living in the Midwest, Saint Leo students earning their degrees online can join students at University Campus and Education Centers across the country in celebrating the university's landmark 125th anniversary.
And there's a lot to celebrate.
What started as the first Catholic college in Florida in 1889 is now the third largest Catholic university in the country with 16,000 students, more than 40 teaching locations in seven states, and 74,000 alumni in 72 countries, 50 states, 3 territories and Washington, D.C.
That includes students such as you: busy, working adults enrolled in one of Saint Leo's more than 50 online degree programs.
One of the nation's pioneers in online learning, Saint Leo established the Center for Online Learning in 1991, and ever since, online students around the world have been an important and integral part of the university community.
Which is why you're encouraged to participate in Saint Leo's first virtual pep rally: A Day for Saint Leo, which will take place on Monday, Nov. 10.
As part of the university's 125th anniversary celebration, A Day for Saint Leo is a day for the entire Saint Leo community – alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents and community members – to show its pride, passion and appreciation for Saint Leo University.
