Saint Leo University Announces Summer 2026 Day Camps

Hands-on programs in sports, STEM, and recreation offer engaging summer experiences for students of all ages
Registration is now open for Saint Leo University’s 2026 summer day camps, offering hands-on opportunities for students from kindergarten through high school to build skills, explore new interests, and stay active throughout the summer. Led by university faculty, coaches, and staff, the camps span recreation, athletics, and STEM-focused learning.
All camps will be held on campus at 33701 County Road 52 in St. Leo. Pricing varies by program, and registration is available at saintleocamps.com.
ACADEMIC CAMPS
CSI Summer Camp, open to middle and high school students, will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 22–25. As they investigate a variety of mock crime scenes, campers will experience forensics firsthand, learning about evidence collection, preservation, and drones.

The Prime Suspects: A Mathematical Mystery is a day camp designed for middle schoolers, ages 11-14, and will be held 9 a.m. to noon, June 29-July 3. For five days, campers will transform into mathematical detectives, working together to solve math mysteries and interrogate complex ideas across several specialized fields.

Robotics Camps
Girls Can! Robotics Camp returns for middle school girls, ages 11-14, and will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 8-12. Girls Can! campers will receive hands-on experience with the Lego Mindstorms EV3 and Spike Prime robotics platforms.
Co-ed Robotics Camp for Middle School, for girls and boys ages 11-14, will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 15-19. Campers will explore building, programming, and working with like-minded students.
Cyber-Bot Programming Camp, designed for high school students ages 15-18, will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 22-26. Campers will use the Parallax robotics platform to build and program robots and gain insights into mechanics, electronics, and sensor integration.

RECREATIONAL CAMPS
Little Lions Day Camp is a fun-filled, high-energy program designed to help children ages 5-13 grow, play, and shine in a safe and supportive environment. This camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 8-11, June 15-18, July 13-16, and July 20-26. Daily activities feature an ever-changing combination of classic physical education games, backyard favorites, sports, pool time, arts and crafts, and special activities and surprises.

SPORTS CAMPS
Lions Youth Baseball Camp is open to girls and boys ages 6-13 and will cover all the fundamentals of the game during its three-day session. Campers will have the opportunity from 8 a.m. to noon, June 16-18, to work on their skills with current Saint Leo players and the coaching staff. Each day will include hitting, pitching, and defensive instruction, before concluding with games.

Basketball Summer Day Camp is open to girls and boys entering second grade through high school. Campers will train and compete under the guidance of Saint Leo coaches and players while building skills, confidence, and game experience.
The camp is offered in two four-day sessions: June 1–4 and July 20–23. Each day is divided into two options to allow flexible scheduling. The morning session, held from 9 to 11:30 a.m., focuses on fundamentals and skill development. The afternoon session, from 12:30 to 3 p.m., emphasizes live gameplay and competition. Campers may register for morning only, afternoon only, or full days.

Volleyball All Skills Camp is open to girls and boys ages 8-13 and will include an introduction to passing, serving, setting, attacking, and defense. Campers of all skill levels may participate in this two-day camp, which will run from July 13-14. Camp sessions will run from 9 a.m. to noon. (morning) and 1-4 p.m. (afternoon). Each session will provide opportunities for one-on-one coaching and drills to build the foundations of the sport.

ADDITIONAL SUMMER OPPORTUNITIES
