Saint Leo University Softball will compete in the NCAA Division II Softball World Series National Championship Finale in Chattanooga, TN, and Lions fans across the country are rallying behind the team during this historic run. Out of the 270 NCAA Division II softball programs that began the season with championship aspirations, just two teams remain standing. The No. 1 Lions enter the championship series with an impressive 52-3-1 record and will face No. 6 seed McKendree in a best-of-three series to determine the 2026 NCAA Division II national champion. On Wednesday, June 3, the university is hosting a watch party at the Saint Leo Wellness Center at 3 p.m. Held on the lakefront basketball court, the event will include free food and is open to the Saint Leo community.

The stands will be packed, so come early. The university is sending a fan bus to the game, thanks to the generosity of alumnus Kevin Sullivan '13 and other donors.
Fans are encouraged to show their green and gold pride by wearing Saint Leo spirit gear.
