    Cheryl Berry, M.S., M.Ed.

    Instructor of Biology and Life Sciences

    Cheryl Berry is an Instructor of Biology and Life Sciences and has been a member of the Mathematics and Science Department since 2017. Cheryl has over 15 years of experience in science education at all levels of K-12 in public and private schools as well as higher education. Cheryl is alumna of Saint Leo University, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Master of Science in Instructional Design from Saint Leo. She also has a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Florida and a graduate certificate from the University of South Florida in Informal Environmental Education. Cheryl is a current doctoral candidate with the American College of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in STEM Leadership. She is currently a co-director of the ACES program, an NSF Noyce Teaching Scholarship Program for STEM + Ed majors, and facilitates an environmental youth summer camp at Saint Leo University. Cheryl’s research interests include instructional practices that lend to increased inclusiveness of women and other underrepresented groups in STEM education.
