Dr. Siamack Bondari is a professor of Mathematics and the current Chair of the Department of Mathematics and Science at Saint Leo University. Dr. Bondari received his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering and his Ph.D. in Mathematics both from Iowa State University. Before joining Saint Leo University in 1999, Dr. Bondari worked at Iowa State University, University of Wisconsin at La Crosse, and Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan. Dr. Bondari has chaired or served on many committees during his tenure at Saint Leo. He is a former officer of MAA and has served as the co-chair of the Mathematics and Computer Science section of Florida Academy of Sciences for over 10 years. Dr. Bondari is a national chess master, and loves reading, watching old classics, nature, and spending time with his family.
