    Janet E. Franks

    Reference Librarian / Associate Professor

    Janet Franks serves as an Associate Professor and Reference Librarian at Cannon Memorial Library. Prior to joining Saint Leo, she was a library specialist at the University of New Mexico, a technical services and circulation coordinator at Colorado College, and an interlibrary loan coordinator at Gonzaga University. Ms. Franks also serves on the Faculty Senate and Undergraduate Program and Curriculum Committee at Saint Leo. Other professional affiliations include being co-editor of the Academic BRASS, the newsletter for the American Library Association's Business Reference and Services Section, and Chair of the Florida Library Association's Fundraising Committee.

    Ms. Franks' community involvement includes serving as Vice-Chair of the Pasco Fine Arts Council and board member of Fine Arts of the Suncoast.

    Ms. Franks is also a member of Saint Leo's Time Warp band and Just the Facts choir.
