Dr. Jones is an Associate Professor of Marketing. He has been a member of the Saint Leo Community since May 2013. Since joining the faculty he has covered most of the courses offered in the Marketing Program at the undergraduate level and he also covers marketing courses in the MBA program. Dr. Jones received his doctorate degree from the University of Memphis in 1992. Prior to that he completed his MBA at Northwest Missouri State University and his BS in Business Administration at Truman State University. Since completing his doctorate he has continued his education by completing a post-baccalaureate certificate at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro in the area of Supply Chain, Logistics and Transportation Management.
Dr. Jones is affiliated with the Southeast Case Research Association and the North American Case Research Association. Dr. Jones writes and publishes cases to be used in the academic setting. He is also a member of the American Marketing Association and is currently a co-advisor of the AMA Student Chapter here at Saint Leo University. Prior to joining the faculty at Saint Leo University Dr. Jones taught at Northwest Missouri State University, the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, Lynchburg College, and North Carolina A&T State University. He also has experiences in business including retail and consulting with various companies.
