Interfraternity Council at Saint Leo
The Interfraternity Council oversees four fraternities on campus: Kappa Sigma, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Sigma Lambda, and Tau Kappa Epsilon. The Interfraternity Council supports all fraternities with chapter operations, recruitment, and academic excellence. Each fraternity is filled with individuals holding multiple leadership positions and involved across campus. Get to know them by coming to an event or to a social!
Saint Leo Inter Fraternity Council (IFC) Greek Life Recruitment
Saint Leo University participates in deferred recruitment, meaning formal recruitment takes place in the Spring instead of the Fall. Deferred recruitment allows first year students the opportunity to fully transition to college successfully & integrate into academic life. Deferred recruitment also allows students to learn about the Greek organizations that are available to them as each organization has its own unique history, traditions, values, philanthropy focus, and requirements for membership.
To qualify for Saint Leo Greek Life, perspective members must:
- Have a 2.5 collegiate GPA or higher
- Have a minimum of twelve (12) Saint Leo University credit hours to be eligible for recruitment

How to Join
Interfraternity Recruitment is open to those who meet Greek Life membership requirements. Potential new members attend socials and events to learn about the fraternities. Based on those interactions, you could receive a bid! Our Recruitment process is structured into four days: orientation night, open fraternity events, preference night (an invite-only event from the fraternities to potential new members), and bid day!
