Information Security, Minor

Why choose an Information Security Minor at Saint Leo?

If you’ve ever had an email account hacked, you know the importance of internet security. Computer networks worldwide hold vital financial, healthcare and legal information that—in the hands of the wrong people—could lead to bankruptcy, lawsuits or worse. Because every company needs to be connected to a global network, they could use someone like you with training in Information Security to protect their data.

Saint Leo also offers an undergraduate certificate in Information Security.  Both the minor and the certificate require 18 credits. The minor can be taken with any major. The certificate is designed to be taken with any major or as a stand-alone qualification in information security.
