You have a mobile lifestyle, but that shouldn’t keep you from moving forward with your educational goals. We understand that life is unpredictable, so we’ve built flexibility into our academic programs.
What are Education Center classes like?
Take traditional, in-person classes on evenings and weekends. Saint Leo also offers online and distance learning courses. If you need a course that is not currently offered, you can work one-on-one with an Education Center faculty member in a directed study. Learn more about the Education Center experience.
How long will it take to earn my degree?
Work at your own pace. Earn your degree in an accelerated program, with evening and weekend classes offered in eight-week terms, starting six times a year. You have up to seven years to complete your Saint Leo degree.
Does Saint Leo offer financial aid for military?
Saint Leo's military students receive tuition assistance through the Montgomery GI Bill®, Post 9/11 GI Bill® and the Yellow Ribbon Program, which makes additional funds available without an additional charge to a student's GI Bill® entitlement. A VA Certifying Official (VCO) at each of our Centers assists you in utilizing VA education benefits to your best advantage. What about transferring credits?
Have you attended other universities or taken credit-by-examination tests, such as CLEP or DANTES? Our academic advisors evaluate your transcripts and match credits with a Saint Leo program that’s right for you.
Have you attended ACE-accredited military occupational specialty schools? Credit for military courses and training may be granted, based on formal evaluation by the Registrar and on recommendations published by the American Council on Education (ACE). The maximum limit upon this category of transcript credit is 39 semester hours.

What if I'm deployed?
With Education Centers on military bases in seven states, you can begin your studies at one Education Center—and if you’re deployed or relocated—finish your degree at another location, or even online. If no internet connection is available, you can even take some courses via CD-ROM.
Whom can I contact about veteran student services?
The Office of Military Affairs and Services works collaboratively with all University departments and community organizations to serve those who have served our country. For further information, contact MilitaryServices@saintleo.edu or (352) 588-8234.
