New Student Orientation

Welcome to Saint Leo University. Your Journey Begins Here!

A Notice to Our Students and Families:

The New Student Orientation team recognizes this as a time of great uncertainty for all incoming students and their families, and is working diligently to provide you with updates to our upcoming New Student Orientation Program in light of recent widespread health concerns. Saint Leo University continues to hold the safety and well-being of our students and staff as our highest priority, and is closely monitoring all recommendations from the CDC.

Please check back for updated New Student Orientation details, which will be posted shortly. In the meantime, we encourage all students and families to contact us at or at (352) 588-8499 with any questions or concerns. We wish you continued good health and happiness, and are thrilled to be welcoming you to the Saint Leo Pride. We look forward to seeing our new Lions soon!

New Student Orientation (NSO) includes a variety of programs and events that will set students on the path toward academic and personal success at Saint Leo University. This multi-day, overnight experience acquaints students with our campus, support services, policies, staff and faculty, and is the beginning of their friendships with other new and returning students.

Through programs offered, students and their families will be informed about the opportunities and responsibilities in and outside of the classroom. By exposing students to the key services and opportunities available to them, we hope to empower students to make well-informed decisions. NSO is mandatory for all first-year and transfer students attending University Campus.

Take a moment to review our helpful New Student Checklist to familiarize yourself with the various documents and tasks you will need to complete prior to your arrival here on campus for the semester.
