Joanne received her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication with a minor in Leadership from the University of South Florida. As a campus leader she was involved with student government and the center for leadership and civic engagement. Following her time at USF, she went on to get a Master’s degree in Student Personnel in Higher Education from the University of Florida. During her tenure at UF, she worked with the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program, First-Generation Student Success, Off Campus Life, and the UF Alumni Association. As a first-generation college student, she struggled through her higher education experiences. Now as a Student Success Coach, she hopes to take what she learned and champion inclusive practices at Saint Leo to ensure every student is able to persist to graduation.

Tyler is originally from Nappanee, Indiana and grew up on a farm raising pigs, lambs, and goats. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ball State University and his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University. During his collegiate adventure he learned that sometimes you win and sometimes you learn! Using his own college experience, along with his knowledge from previous positions in Residence Life and Academic Success, he wants to use his failures and successes to help make students’ dreams come true. When he’s not at work he is usually at Disney or taking in some form of entertainment (movies, TV, podcasts, theatre, etc.)

Janelle has worked in higher education for over 18 years, 10 of which have been at Saint Leo University. She is married with two grown sons. While working and raising her family, Janelle obtained a BS in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. She is an avid reader, enjoying all types of literature. Her love of reading is what got her hooked on education. With hard work and dedication she feels that anyone can obtain their hearts desire and she wants to instill in all of our students that same hunger for education.

Nicole has worked for Saint Leo University for 11 years. Her previous position was with the Adult Education Center where she advised students enrolled in weekend and evening courses. She earned her Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management in 2013. She’s taught a number of Saint Leo courses, both online and in the classroom, over the past several years. She lives in Dade City with her husband and a small menagerie of four-legged family members. In her spare time she enjoy the outdoors, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Tracy graduated from Saint Leo University with a Bachelors in Social Work. She worked in a variety of settings including health care and non-profit agencies. She has worked at Saint Leo University for 5 years. As a Student Success Coach, she is excited to be a part of the journey her students are embarking on. She hopes to provide her students with the same guidance and support that she received from her Saint Leo University mentor, Dr. Francis Martin, who forever made a positive impact in her life and shaped her into who she is today. Tracy was born and raised in Dade City, where her husband Chris works for his family business, Boltin Pest Control, which has been in operation in the local community for over 50 years. They have two teenage daughters and a fluffy kitten named Rosie.

Ricardo’s professional career has always been one where he has had the opportunity to guide and encourage others to overcome challenges in order to achieve personal development and enrichment. Prior to this role, he was an advisor for one of the TRIO programs (Educational Talent Search) at Polk State College for three years. He was also an adjunct instructor at Southeastern University. He currently live in Lakeland with his wife, who is an elementary school art teacher. He is also in the process of completing his Doctor of Education degree at Florida Southern College. Outside of his academics and career, he usually spent his free time at the gym, watching sports, especially college football and professional basketball, being a movie buff, and keeping up with dance shows like So You Think You Can Dance and World of Dance.
