WLSL 92.7 FM Wants You On The Air!
Are you interested in producing and/or airing your own segment over the radio? The communication major at Saint Leo University equips you with the skills every employer wants and you need. Courses like Radio Practicum teach you to develop your voice and find your audience through a hands on broadcasting experience. Through the practicum courses below you will learn the tools it takes and gain the confidence to become an important influencer in today's digital age, while making an impact right here in your local community!
- CMS 220 Radio Practicum I is designed for students interested in participating in the on-campus college radio station. Students will discuss with the instructor specific learning objectives. This course is a Pass/Fail course and can be repeated for up to 9 credit hours.
- CMS 420 Radio Practicum II is designed for upper-class students interested in continuing to participate in the on-campus college radio station. Students will discuss with the instructor specific learning objectives. This course is a Pass/Fail course and can be repeated for up to 9 credit hours.
Radio Practicum I and II are available every semester and summers. Choose one to nine credits or volunteer.
