Saint Leo Men's Lacrosse 'Cinderella Story' Featured on Tampa's Fox 13
The Saint Leo University Lions will host Tampa in the 2018 NCAA Division II South quarterfinals on Saturday.
Saint Leo men's lacrosse team was selected as the No. 2 seed of the South Region on Sunday night during the 2018 NCAA Division II Men's Lacrosse Championship selection show. Saint Leo will host No. 3 seed Tampa in the quarterfinals at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 12, on the campus of Saint Leo University.
The Lions, under the direction of head coach Brad Jorgensen, will play the No. 3 seed Tampa in the Lions first-ever program NCAA appearance. The South Region game will be played at University Turf Stadium.
Kevin O'Donnell and Jeff Tewksbury of WTVT-TV, Fox 13, visited Saint Leo on Tuesday in advance of Saturday's game to take a look at the Lions. They interviewed senior Jake Gilmour of Ontario, Canada, and junior Julian Taylor of Tampa, as well as Jorgensen.

Ticket prices are: adults - $8; seniors (65 years and older) - $5; military (active and retired) - $5; students (ID required) - $5; and children younger than 12 - $4.
