On November 19, Saint Leo University will welcome Dr. Jim Burkee as its 12th president in a way that honors the University’s core values and mission.
Faculty, staff, and students will be invited to participate in service projects on campus and in the community to recognize the start of a courageous new chapter in Saint Leo University’s story. Classes will be canceled so all can participate.
Service
Campus Service Opportunities
A variety of service opportunities will be available throughout the day. There are morning and afternoon shifts with a mix of on and off campus service projects. Transportation is available for off campus service projects.
Online Service Opportunities
In the spirit of this day, online and education center students are invited to participate in service projects in their local communities. There are several ways to give back where you live.
Celebration
Service Day Kickoff - 8 a.m.
All are invited to join in the Wellness Center Gym for our service project kickoff. Enjoy continental breakfast items, hear from President Burkee, and participate in a group photo.
Campus Celebration Lunch - 11 a.m.
All are invited to the Dining Hall to enjoy a complimentary barbeque lunch.
