SACSCOC Status Update

Saint Leo University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
In December 2024, the SACSCOC Board of Trustees found Saint Leo University in compliance with all SACSCOC standards and made the decision to remove the Probation for Good Cause status from the university. Saint Leo University is in good standing with its institutional accreditor.
Past SACSCOC Status Updates

In December 2023, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges Board of Trustees made the decision to continue Saint Leo University’s accreditation for good cause and placed it on Probation. This was in response to the university’s compliance with Standard 13.3 of the Principles of Accreditation for financial responsibility.
With this change in status, Saint Leo University remains accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. The university is working on plans to address all areas of concern in time for its next accreditation review in December 2024.
