Step Three

Based on your responses above, these are the forms you’ll need to fill out to complete the admission process. Most will require your Saint Leo University Student ID # and university email address, which you can find in your acceptance email sent by the Office of Admissions or by contacting your admission counselor.

Please note: Your immunization form requires a signature from your doctor, so don’t put it off until the last minute. Please try using our new Med+Proctor system to upload your health documents. If you cannot log in, please download the form and email it to

If you have any questions, please call the Health Center at (352) 588 -8347. Please note that immunization records must be received by December 15, 2021 for all resident students.

Student health insurance waiver

Because all full-time students must have health insurance, Saint Leo automatically enrolls all full-time students in a university-approved health plan. To waive this coverage and prevent your account from being billed, complete the waiver process. The waiver will open on December 1, 2021. The deadline to remove the insurance charge from your Saint Leo University bill is February 2, 2022.

Step Four

The last thing you want to do when you get to campus for the first time is wait in line for your student ID or a parking decal. Get these out of the way now (and thank us later).
Placement testing

Online Placement Exams for Spring 2022 will take place between November 1, 2021 - January 21, 2022, and on-campus exams will take place from January 10, 2022 - January 21, 2022.

For all Transfer students: If you have taken college-level English and/or Math, please follow-up with your admissions counselor to see if we have your official transcript on file. If you have not ordered your official transcript, please contact the university or college you previously attended and have them sent as soon as possible.

If you have not taken college-level English and/or Math, you will need to complete Placement Exams.  You will receive more information once you submit your deposit.

For First Time in College if previously dual enrolled or have AP credits: If you have taken AP credits and/or college level English and/or Math, please follow-up with your admissions counselor to see if we have your official transcript on file. If you have not ordered your test records or official transcript, please contact the appropriate office as soon as possible.

If you were not dual enrolled or receiving AP credit, you will need to complete Placement Exams.  You will receive more information once you submit your deposit.

Have questions on placement testing? Please see our FAQs page.

Student ID

Your Student ID gives you access to campus buildings, pays for dining hall meals and can be loaded with “Monarch Money” to buy stuff at the Lion’s Lair and campus bookstore. View the information requirements, send over your approved photo, and pick up your ID once you get to campus.

Plan to work on campus?

If you intend on applying as a student worker, there are a few things you’ll want to do in advance.

Visit the Employment Website

Visit to view a list of current openings. You can filter this list to only show student openings. Student worker roles are posted on an ongoing basis throughout the academic year with the biggest hiring taking place at the start of each semester (Spring, Summer, Fall).

Bring your work authorization documents

In order to function as a student worker, you are required to present original work authorization documents within 3 days of hire. Human Resources recommends you bringing these documents with you to campus, as we are unable to accept copies or photos of them. Failure to provide these documents in a timely manner could result in the delay of your start date.

Important Note:

All students must have a social security number in order to complete a background screening. Please review the list of acceptable documents carefully to ensure you have all required documents needed to verify your authorization.
