At the Donald R. Tapia College of Business, our mission is simple and straightforward: To provide a values-centered education that develops tomorrow’s business leaders.
As a business college of international consequence, our students create a personal legacy of character and integrity, developing into responsible global citizens ready to contribute to society wherever they go—whether building sustainable tourism practices in Quito, Ecuador; winning a fully-paid fellowship at Big Four accounting firm Ernst & Young; or enrolling in Harvard Law School.
As the largest Catholic business College in the U.S., we welcome more than 8,000 business students enrolled through our online programs, more than 30 Education Centers across the country, and Tampa-area main campus—home to our state-of-the-art, LEED Gold-certified College of Business building.
Our programs—accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP) —are distinct in their student-centered teaching, future-paced research, entrepreneurial leadership, and close relationships with alumni and community leaders. Our students publish papers in esteemed academic journals, from the Leadership and Organizational Management Journal to the Ethics & Critical Thinking Journal. They present original research and portfolio work at national conferences. They tour European and Latin American global financial centers to learn firsthand the complexities of overseas markets. They work on full-featured strategic plans for industry partners like a top Florida pharmaceutical design and manufacturing firm. They participate in the College's annual Business Plan Competition and International Business Conference, and are active in Saint Leo’s student chapters of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and Phi Beta Lambda.
