    Holly S. Atkins, Ph.D.

    Associate Professor, Chair Undergraduate Education Department Dr. Holly Atkins is an Associate Professor of Education and Chair of the Undergraduate Education Department. Dr. Atkins has over 25 years of experience in education. Prior to joining the Saint Leo Community in 2011, Dr. Atkins was a middle grades English/Language Arts teacher and as an adjunct instructor for the University of South Florida. Scholarship focuses on teacher professional development, pre-service education, technology pedagogy, and best practices in middle/secondary ELA. Dr. Atkins is the co-principal investigator for the Robert Noyce National Science Foundation grant and serves as the director of Saint Leo University̢‰â‰ă˘s Teacher Technology Summer Institute.
