Keya Mukherjee, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor
Dr. Mukherjee received her Ph.D. from the University of South Florida in Curriculum and Instruction, with emphasis on Applied Linguistics and Instructional Technology/Instructional Design. She has a bachelor's and a master's degrees in English as well as master's degree in Applied Linguistics/ESL. Prior to her work with Saint Leo, she has worked for many years teaching ESL students and conducted teacher training in the US as well as internationally. She is currently the Program Administrator for the ESOL and Instructional Design programs at Saint Leo University, where she has designs, develops and currently teaches courses on instructional design, teacher education courses related to ESOL, courses on diversity and multicultural education, and research methodology. Her current research interests are related to online learning specifically on teaching innovation in online learning, culturally sensitive online pedagogy, and student engagement.
