To be able to further discuss your education record with your parents, spouse, or other persons whom you designate, you must provide your authorization. Your education records include, but are not limited to: records, files, documents and other material that contain information directly related to the student and are maintained by the university or a person acting for the university. This includes admission, enrollment, financial aid, academic, and disciplinary records.

A FERPA Release form can be completed electronically or by paper.

Electronically: You may submit the form electronically from your student portal – eForm – FERPA Release Form

Paper: Print and fill out this FERPA Release form. Fax to 352-588-8656 or mail to:

In accordance with your request of confidential status, we will respond to verification requests from loan companies, prospective employers, or other individuals indicating that we have no record of your attendance at Saint Leo University. ALL requests to change or rescind a FERPA Release or Hold must be submitted in writing to the Registrar’s Office.
