Veteran Studies, Minor

Why choose a Veteran Studies Minor at Saint Leo?

At only 15 credit hours, this minor can easily fit into most schedules. This minor is an excellent complement to majors in English, History, Medical Humanities, Political Science, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Sociology, and Human Services.

Students will gain valuable understanding of the contributions of Veterans to all aspects of society. Those who wish to work in a field that caters to a Veteran population, will be amply prepared to compete in those fields. This minor focuses attention on a minority of the population who report often feeling unwelcome and misunderstood by the larger community. In recognizing the unique identity of Veterans and their contribution to their societies, Saint Leo makes tangible its commitment to growing the bonds of our community.
