Why choose Liberal Studies at Saint Leo

You’ve had rich life experiences, and your wealth of knowledge is proof. Now enhance your real world learning with interdisciplinary studies at Saint Leo University. As a Liberal Studies student at Florida's oldest Catholic institution of higher education, you'll build skills in writing and critical thinking you can take with you on your next great adventure.

Saint Leo’s flexible curriculum lets you reach personal and career aspirations without sacrificing your fulltime responsibilities at home or at work.

As a Liberal Studies student at a Saint Leo Education Center, you'll deepen your capacity for critical thinking, problem solving and creativity, and learn to participate effectively in the global community. Take a common core of courses—identical to University Campus courses—in the social and natural sciences, humanities, fine arts, religion and philosophy. Explore the interdependence between humans and the ecosphere; the interrelationships among business, government and society; and cross-cultural perspectives on human behavior, including bio- and socio-ethical issues, and consciousness and spiritual growth.

Rooted in the 1,500-year-old Benedictine tradition, Saint Leo University creates a student-centered environment in which love of learning is of prime importance.
