    Sandhill Writers VIRTUAL Retreat

    9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (via Zoom)

    Retreat registration includes access to all 16 workshops and an open mic reading. All workshops will be livestreamed and recorded for future viewing. All participants must be registered to attend.

    $45 - General Public
    $45 - Teachers, Student, Seniors
    $25 - Saint Leo University Faculty, Staff, Students
    $25 - Veterans and Active Duty Military

    * Late registration from May 13-15, 2021, incurs an additional late fee of $15 per registrant.

    (Optional) $85 - One-on-One Manuscript Consultation

    A very limited number of private one-on-one manuscript consultations are available to retreat participants on a first come, first served basis. Once registered for both the retreat and a consultation, submit a manuscript of up to 10 pages of poetry, up to 15 pages of fiction or up to 15 pages of nonfiction to the director. You may submit manuscripts in more than one genre, but each submission incurs an additional consultation fee. Submit your manuscript no later than May 1 to the director at

    The director will send your work to the appropriate faculty member. You will receive your conference time and location from the faculty member prior to the retreat. The consultation includes a close personal review of your work and a minimum 20-minute private conference.
