The B.A. in Mathematics with Data Science degree prepares students for future careers in both Mathematics and Data Science fields. By combining a traditional mathematics degree with additional courses focusing on data science topics, students gain skills that will enable them to work with big data and enter into data science or data analyst roles. The major also aims to prepare students for graduate work in Mathematics, Statistics or fields that may relate to Data Science.
